Edward was always proud to have served on minesweepers during the second world war and held a passionate love of the sea. He and his wife, Margaret, loved visiting the sea and were in awe of its magnificence but also respectful of its power. They were active supporters of the RNLI and of the work your organistaion does to save lives and to develop people's awareness of the sea. As a family, we still continue a lifelong association with Pembrokeshire and Margaret and Edward would be proud to feel that we plan to continue to support the work of the RNLI in their memory.
